A tan solo 45 minutos del nuevo aeropuerto de Quito, a 50 kilometros de distancia (31 millas) en un recorrido lleno de hermosos y pintorescos paisajes andinos se encuentra el Spa, Resort y Centro de Convenciones "Termas de Papallacta". Este complejo turistico de aguas termales esta ubicado en la llamada, "Ruta de la Canela", la misma que el conquistador Francisco de Orellana tomo en 1542, cuando cruzo la Cordillera Andina y que inesperadamente le llevo al descubrimiento del Rio Amazonas. Papallacta es la puerta de entrada a la Amazonia Ecuatoriana. Tiene una temperatura diurna promedio ambiental de 14 o C (57 o F).

Pools of every temperature to relieve aches and pains, as well as loosen your muscles. They have a place to eat and lockers and baskets to store your stuff. The staff is friendly and the setting is incredible. Recommend going for the weekend.
