We enjoyed our trip to the hot springs, it took approx one and a half hours to get there, getting out of Quito is the worse part due to traffic congestion. Unfortunately it was cloudy and rainy when we visited so didn't get a good view of surrounding mountains. We didn't have time to look at public hot springs so... More

If your looking for a relaxed day this is the place. At 1:20 hour drive from Quito, offers a nice place to connect with nature without any effort. Food might be better, but worth it.

This hot springs was a great stop on a busy day of birding at altitude, which followed 2 insane days of travel troubles in airports, plans, buses, etc. What a blessing to get a nice hot soak in - and on a Sunday, when a lot of the locals were out doing same. Do it; make sure it's on your... More

We used a tour company to take us here for a day trip from Quito. We had our 6 year old with us and spent a very memorable few hours hiking around the property and enjoying a very relaxing soak. It was exactly the sort of day trip we needed to loosen some stiff muscles after travelling. There is a... More

This is a great thermal pool complex & a lovely way to spend a few hours and what a gorgeous view! Weekday visit was very quiet which made for easy flitting in and out of the pools. $8.5 to use all the public pools, simple clean change rooms and $0.5 for a locker. No problem to take a picnic lunch... More

I have read about this hot springs spa in a spa magazine in 2004. I finally made it and it exceeded my expectations! Location is spectacular with mountains surrounding the resort. Driving back from the rain forest, our bus (on a Gate 1 tour) stopped here for a lunch and a soak. Large, clean, spacious, changing room. Multiple pools at different temps.
