You will need a driver or be part of a tour to visit this site. There is a government guest house but you will probably have come from Larkana as a day trip.
The city dates back some 5000 years and was buried and rebuilt many times before being lost until 1911 when the first excavations around the Buddhist Stupa began. Much has been excavated and you get a sense of a real city with streets, houses, shops. Water and sewage systems.
You can walk for hours. Best to take a guide. A sun hat and water are a good idea. The government rest house provides food and clean toilets.

This is a place not to her missed on your trip to Pakistan. A UNESCO site, it is popular with foreigners and locals alike. So much history and so much to see in one place. One of my best memories of my visit to Pakistan.

Mohenjo-Daro was abandoned in the 19th century BCE, and was not rediscovered until 1922.The place itself is amazing but very sad reflection...after about 5000 years those remaining may absolutely disappear during the time of our generation...Walking around you may feel like the city citizen, just 4500 years ago.it was one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, and one of the world's earliest major urban settlements, contemporaneous with the civilizations of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, and Crete.

Mohenjodaro is one of the largest archaeological sites of Pakistan. The city was built around 2500 BC and gradually abandoned after 1900 BC. At its peak, the city had a population of over 40000 people.

I am not too sure about this. But i think there might be some in the museum. Though generally speaking, the availability of bathrooms is limited in Pakistan.
