I can't put in words how terrible this place is. And to think I actually paid for this crap! I guess I'd go back only if I were PAID to do it, and a lot. They try to emulate some early 20th century stuff, such as cars and trains, but the experience is idiotic and it isn't really a theme park. Not even kids can extract any fun. AVOID!

Not an easy place to find. It is small and old but I guess that is the theme of the park. It is more like a museum for old style cars. We were lucky to have a guide (if you understand Spanish) and the history behind the park and vehicles is quite nice. If you are used to big proper tourist places, then this isn't the place for you. It is an easy walking area and refreshments are available if you ask.

Set amidst the desert of Villa de Leyva, this funky park was a pleasant surprise. A refreshing attraction in the circuit. It has a few antique cars (7 or 8) in decent condition shown to the public along with very basic explanations and set ups. We were welcomed by a young fellow who offered as guide so we said yes. Although not very experienced he was kind and knowledgeable, in other words, we learned. The park was the dream of its founder, who we are told died a few months after it opened. Run now by his family, it has probably seen better days; although I don't think it's a waste of money (it was 4 usd!!!!). Hope they keep it up and improve throughout the years.

Old, tired, run down, tiny theme park, many of the attractions don't work, not worth visiting. I'm sure it was nice in its hey day but not anymore, owners need to put lots of money into it.

This very small theme park has overshadowed the very interesting (and authentic) misca observatory next to it. Really, does anybody come to Villa de Leyva to go to a USA turn of the century nostalgia park? The car collection is very nice though (about 6 cars in all).

So we arrived at the park and copped on fairly quickly that the full range of features were not open most likely due to low season.

Our experience with Elizabeth the receptionist was one of the worst we have ever had. We asked for a student discount or even a discount for 2 but she would not give any. We agreed to pay the 24k entrance fee for 2. We happened to have 23950 Pesos in change but Elizabeth quite rudely said no discount, 50 pesos is approx 2 cent. She was willing to let us go for 2 cent. We ended up breaking a big note to enter.

After this we had Elizabeth following us around the park. It made the experience terrible.
