This was an interersting attraction as it didn't look too much especially with all the ground and flora beside it. You can't swim as it has toxic sulphur in the water that gives it the colour!

We did visit these waterholes, but there was another one a bit further away by car in which you can swim, it was a quick swim since the water was a bit cold but it really made our day to swim in there

You can go around those some ponds there. On sunny days the water shimmers in turquoise colors. It is nice, but do not expect too much. Go there in the morning when not many people are there.

If you've ever seen a hole with water in it then there's no point visiting this non-attraction! Appalling that this even gets a mention in the beautiful Villa de Leyva and charging to enter simply adds insult to injury. I'm rarely so harsh in my reviews but this place deserves it.

The pool is artificially constructed and part of an irrigation project. Yes, it has a nice color, and a swim in it would be refreshing. But it's not really very special.

Best activity when you are in Villa de Leyva is doing some horse riding. It will take you 1.5 hour to reach the Pozos Azules. If you do this in the morning it is quiet and a beautiful place that you can't leave without taking some pictures.

Wells made by man, with nice blue color because of soil minerals. Nothing extraordinary to see. You will spend 20-30 min walking.

While we were warned that you need to visit the posos in the morning to be struck by their color, I still think this is a huge miss. Basically a couple of small ponds in a rather desolate part of the countryside. It is a bit of a hike between ponds so I noticed that they offer house back rides... More

We were on a horse riding trip and stopped by the end of pozos azules but this was just 3 holes with water in it. Not a great view, no special color just clear water in 3 digged holes.
