Corfu has a problem with rubbish collection at the moment (2018). Outside most villages there are piles of rubbish, and I really hope this is sorted out soon because otherwise there will be a serious health problem, as well as deterring travellers from visiting this...More
This is a beach without sand. Instead there are small pebbles. Higher up these get a bit bigger.
Few visitors in October - we counted 6 couples on the entire beach - and you park your car behind you.

A peaceful location with wonderful clean clear water.. Sun lougers all in good condition and at a reasonable price. The taverna in the middle is best for food, Sad to say no public toilet facilities but can use the tavernas
Visited in our hire car and found it to be a nice beach which was not overcrowded. Children enjoyed swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear water. The sea does get deep quickly so could be a consideration for less strong swimmers.
We walked here from Kassiopi which is a perfectly acceptable walk. It is a beautiful beach, very peaceful. Lunch was taken in Cavo Barbero which was very good. One toilet on beach which was disgusting but no shower.
