I never knew the history of Loyalists settling the Bahamas. The artifacts of colonial and ancient Indian were educational.

The museum gives an authentic view of island life over the past 300 years. Nostalgic artefacts and well laud out exhibits.

This was a great way to learn about Elbow Cay, history of the Abacos, and way of life from a time gone by. I recommend taking the time to visit.

Hope Town was founded by British loyalists leaving South Carolina after the U.S. Revolutionary War. The museum gives a nice overview of early island life.

$5 per person and attached to gift shop with a lot of locally made items Interesting artifacts and history of Hope Town - worth a quick visit...takes about 30 min to an hour to go through it.

The Museum in Hope Town is open Monday thru Friday 10am to 4pm.
