I have been coming to the resort with my family for years. Both my children did lessons there too. One of them had an accident on the hill on his first run and was brought down by ski patrol. He was told not to ski the rest of the day and that we could get a refund for the ticket.... More

I have a beginner child. No where does anyone tell you that there are two different chalets. One Chalet is for beginner but to get there from the other side you have to travel up hill long distance and own a treacherous hill which is very scary for a beginner. When we went to rent our skis I asked where... More

Skiied/boarded at both Horseshoe and Mount St. Louis Moonstone this week and preferred this hill for sheer variety (and it also seemed a little taller, although I didn't check the official height). Having two peaks also means more "longer" runs. The high speed chair is great (Horseshoe also has one) and I thought it was great that they had a... More

Currently writing from the mountains in Japan, and until now I have never appreciated how good the groomed snow or terrain parks are at MSLM. As good as the powder is here, when there is no fresh I really wish the snow was groomed as nicely as at Mount Saint Louis Moonstone! The resort is better maintained than anywhere else... More

I have been skiing at Mt St Louis Moonstone for the past years along with many other ski resorts in Ontario. In the past two years I have decided to purchase the night season pass. This year has been the worst, the team at Mt St Louis Moonstone is not grooming ever the trails after 3 PM, the trail condition... More

Incredible ski trip with my 9 year old daughter. Runs for all experience levels. Black diamond hills are not too difficult and there is one with great moguls spanning the entire run. Terrain parks are awesome. Possibly the best I've seen in Ontario. Lifts for beginner runs at St Louis are very slow but all others are decent and the... More

We've been doing lessons for our kids for 3 years now and love it. Great staff, simple casual lodges, but lifts that move people. Seldom you have to wait more than 5 minutes in line.

I've skied this hill quite a bit over the years, but having five novices with me this time made me develop a new appreciation for what a great learning hill this is. Took two trips up the magic carpet, then spent an hour and a bit on the adjacent (learner's) chair, and then began to slowly progress across the hill... More

I went up on January 4th with some co-workers to ski. The conditions were decent, some ice from where it was windy at the top of the chair lifts (& it did rain the day before and overnight) but there was some fresh snow as well. Visibility was poor at times but since there was snow squalls on and off,... More

If your in it for the slopes by all means go for it! I am not an experienced skier by any Means. We Coming on a Monday it was not busy which was a big plus. The conditions were good and there was no icy patches. Upon arrival we walked to the lift ticket are to find it was closed... More
