Spend the day driving out to the bluff. Had the best of weather. On the way back we went up the hill to the look out point. We could see Steward Island and ships passing through

Super walk and great view. Well worth it and there is a WW11 gun battery too although a bit delapidated - be worth preserving as more of an attraction.

The local historical society has done a wonderful job with interpretation of the Bluff environment and surrounds. The Maori story is well preserved. Although overcast the views were still amazing

We were up the hill in mid morning and it was a bit hazy. We still had a great view and it was well worth the trip up. Lots of great photos. There are a few trails to walk as well
