Killman Zoo

Great place if you like big cats! They get twice a day and sometimes if there are "kittens", you can hold and play with them...very cool!

This is a small but very nice walk around zoo. Kids can easily walk all around without being carried like bigger zoos

We visited the zoo on a Saturday in mid-October. Although we had a bit of trouble locating the zoo (lack of signage along the route from Binbrook area), we soon enough located the parking lot (which is also small and quickly filled up - there were many cars parked along the roadway when we left a few hours later). Paying... More

Took 2 children ages 2 and 6. They loved it!! The zoo has lots of wonderful creatures for the kids to see and they could get a pretty close-up look at them. The staff were friendly and helpful and the grounds were clean and not crowded!! The kids had a good time and we were in and out in about... More

I highly recommend if you go, go Sunday when they feed the animals in front of the public. That way you see the big cats come up and move around. Those who say the cages are small and it is cruel, if you actually listen to the zookeepers they were almost all born and raised there, they also are let... More

We took our granddaughter there and what a terrific day we had. What an educational experience for children to learn about and appreciate these large cats. The staff at the park was absolutely fantastic and were very helpful in answering any of the questions that we had and particularly our granddaughter Lauren. The park is well kept and the animals... This zoo is a little hard to find because at the moment there are no signs except when you arrive, so be prepared to search a bit. It is fairly small and not at all fancy, no gift shop or food on sale and only a couple of portable toilets. The enclosures are mostly fine but again quite basic. They... More

This private zoo is definately for the cat lover. They have more wild large cats than toronto zoo. The zoo is down a small country rd so keep out a keen eye not to miss the cut off. The price was decent for what you get. They have a bear who dances for peanuts and there are multiple types of... More

Visited this zoo with my three small children (8, 6, 2). Really appreciated that it was walkable for the little ones. The price was affordable. Without a WagJag, I only spent $53 and got entrance for 1 adult, 3 kids, and 3 bags of peanuts. There were at least five friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable staff on site, cleaning out the enclosures,... More
