Tatajuba seems to be the main attraction for the West Side buggy tours departing Jericoacoara, and the attractions here are the lagoons. We told we would be going to lagoa Tatajuba or lagoa Grande but not sure which one we ended up. It seems, however, that most tour operators will take to the same places.

At the lagoas, the main drag is the beauty, the blue/green waters constrast with the while sand, and the "thrilling" activities, like togoagua (a slide from the top of the dune to the lagoon) or tirolesa, which is a mini zipline where you end up splashing in the water. The operators are independent, and you can buy tickets in bulk. Everybody enjoys a different thing - just note that after the slide, you will have to climb the dune up again, but I think that is part of the fun.

After the activities, we had lunch at another lagoon. The restaurants are bordering the lagoon, and all of them will bring fresh catches of the day (fish, lobster) and grill for you. For us, Californians, we thought the prices were very reasonable (thanks to the by-then current currency conversion rates) and we were very, very pleased with the meal and experience. For reference, the meal was cheaper and better than a fancier one we had at the Alchymist in lagoa Paraiso the next day.

Up to date, my family is raving about this day.

We like and highly recommend Tatajuba Lagoon!
There is plenty of fun for the whole day: stand up, kayak, inflatable ball, among others! And to rest nets scattered all over the pond!
We stayed at Barracca do Robério and it was a good request, indication of our bugueiro Jonas! The food is also wonderful and the live menu is an Attraction apart!

Nice place, good for a walk and especially for those who are in the Villa for the first time. Prices are ok and the service is reasonable, but the pond is very quiet and pleasant for bathing.

The place itself is interesting, but the prices of the meals are far above the quality and quantity offered.
We first passed by Laguna Beach, which despite being an artificially created lagoon, offers much better dining and drinking options with lower prices and higher quality.
I recommend asking the guide to stop for lunch at Laguna Beach when you go on the West Tour leaving Jeri.
The most interesting part of the tour was the route through the dunes until reaching the lagoons and the waterslides to descend from the top of the dunes to the lagoons.

Due to rain, the size of the Lagoon changes during the year. In January it wasn't as full and the water wasn't as crystal clear. Even so, it was possible to spend a few hours of fun with my son in the water and take beautiful photos in the hammocks and with the dunes in the background.

Tatajuba is included in the tour to the west coast that leaves Jeri. Place with a lagoon, several restaurants, tables placed in the water. Windy. The prices of fish for lunch I found to be a little expensive. I found the way here much more interesting than the place at the end of the tour. But everything is worth knowing.

My visit to Tatajuba Lagoon was simply incredible! Unlike Lagoa do Paraíso, the water and sand have darker tones, but this did not diminish the beauty and fun of the place in the slightest.

The first thing that catches your eye is the hammocks in the water - a unique relaxing experience! Fabia made the most of it, and the tranquility we felt there was indescribable. A true relaxation therapy.

The adrenaline ran wild with the famous esquibunda! Three exhilarating drops in the dunes, a high-speed descent that gives butterflies in those good stomachs! Oh, and for just 15 reais, it's excellent value for money for fun.

The souvenir sellers were not at all intrusive, which allowed us to enjoy the lagoon without interruptions. And the kiosks... An experience in itself! Live menu, fresh fish and seafood to choose from before being prepared. The portions are generous and the flavors are guaranteed to leave anyone's mouth watering.

An obligatory stop is at Barraca do Lucas. The highlight? The seafood platter to choose and enjoy! Incredible prawns and mouth-watering roasted fish - there's no way to resist.

In addition to all the attractions, the environment by the lake is simply enchanting. And even if the water isn't the turquoise blue in the photos, the peace and beauty of the place make up for it all.

Oh, it's worth remembering: the price of the skibunda tour is super affordable, and the food at the kiosks is delicious, despite being a little more expensive.

In short, Tatajuba Lagoon is a true refuge for those looking to relax and have fun. If you want a peaceful place, with adventure options, good food and unique landscapes, you can't miss it!
