Closed until Spring 2018. Dating back to the 15th Century the house and farm are brought to life with characters from the Island's past. Explore the orchard and learn about bygone crafts and quirky traditions from the resident Goodwyf. Find out more about our history of cider making and Jersey apples. During the summer visitors can meet the Hamptonne piglets and calves in the traditional farm-stead with outdoor yard and mud bath and Jersey cows graze in the fields at Hamptonne . Special events will take place throughout the year for all the family to enjoy, including the annual Fais'sie d'Cidre, and a sensational blend of sounds and cider. Find out about our Heritage Pass - four visitor attractions for the price of three on our website or at any of our visitor attractions.

Informative and interesting museum which we always visit every year. Love to walk around the woods and orchards and see the animals. Lovely to be able to stroke the Jersey cows! Tea room not great but everything else perfect.

Thanks for your review of Hamptonne. Could you let us know what was wrong with the tea room? We'd like to ask our cafe owners to look into any problems.

The museum is really a collection of farm buildings, a 16th century farmhouse, some animals, including ,when we were there, a couple of Jersey calves, and an orchard of old varieties of apple trees. There is aguided tour about every hour which tells you the history...More

We are not sure that this review is for Hamptonne Country Life Museum....Hamptonne Country Life Museum does have a old horse pulled trolley, but no lorries, bikes or organs.

Such a lovely peaceful place with interesting displays. Not a lot to do but certainly fills a morning or afternoon if you include a stop for tea. The staff were especially helpful and friendly.

Worth a visit to this museum especially on a sunny day. Several buildings in period style with at least one person in period costume giving a talk. Small but very nice gardens, Cider barn and press - still used.

This is a lovely and educational attraction to pass an hour or two at. We visited with our 3 year old, particularly as they had advertised their new kids play area - a rustic wood based play area / obstacle course which is ideal for...More

We were happy to read you visited Hamptonne and the new green play area which is the ideal venue for children of the 3 – 6year age group. However, we are concerned that there appeared to be a large party going on at the time...More

Average is probably a generous rating for this attraction. It is basically an old farmhouse and other assorted buildings with a few information boards about Jersey cows and cider making. There was only 1 person dressed up and she was pretending to make some sort...More
