Had a great visit here in September. The museum was quiet but still plenty to see and do. Cafe was very small and service slow so we went elsewhere for lunch but it was great to see the pigs and the highlight for us was the Jersey cows which we had a stroke of.

Visited this site whilst they hosted a ciderfeast. Very good set up. Was a bit busy due to special event. Car park was a fair distance away. However they did use facilities nearer as a disabled car park. Cost for Adult was £8.50

This is a wonderfully historic site - the main house and barn opposite are both C15th. In the kitchen of the house was a C17th lady explaining life of the time. The museum in a lovely rural location, with lots of free range chickens. My daughter particularly liked the chicks and the couple of calves.

This is a small stone built farm with interesting and informative staff. It takes a bit of finding so make sure you programme the sat nav!

We were actually staying here in one of the apartments, which gave us access to the museum. We live in the country at home, but we learned a lot here from the excellent and friendly staff. The place is maintained to a very high standard with informative signs and costumed staff. Nice tearoom, some pleasant walks and a number of... More

Nice way to spend an afternoon. Interesting exhibites and beautiful stitch samplers. Staff in costume and happy to explain how life would have been a few hundred years ago on the islands/working on the farm. Also some pigs, jersey calfs and chickens running around to pet.

Hamptonne is a beautiful venue and a must see if you like the country lifestyle. As for the negative reviews they seem to relate to hard to find (it is well signposted from the inner road) or the cafe sandwiches - ignore that and give it a visit!!!

The property shows life in the seventeenth century. A tour guide gives an excellent talk about the estate lasting about an hour. Plenty to see and a lovely cafe to enjoy a jersey scone.
