Download a leaflet and follow the walk whilst reading about all the interesting things at each point, kids will love it. Plan to take a few hours though as there are plenty of places to stop along the way - start in the morning and...More

We have done this walk at various times of year including New Years Day. It's a beautiful walk over farmland and alongside where 3 rivers converge. We have seen herons and otters along this stretch. It's around 6 miles, is not too strenuous but if...More

Great walk. Approximately 5.5 miles of mixed farmland, woodland and riverside walking. Took approx. 3 hours. Take your walking boots as sections of farmland can be quite muddy. A relatively easy mix of hillside and flat walking presented great views of Stoneyhurst College and surrounding...More

It was a challenging 5 miles through boggy fields and woods but a must-do on our list and we are so glad we did it. But boy did we earn that drink at the end!

Loved every minute of this walk and discovering new sights at every turn. Be prepared as 5 and a half miles long and lots of styles to climb over. Good walking shoes and refreshments. But just loved it all.
