Found the place after seeing a flyer at our hotel. We opted for individual kayaks and the 14km course that runs from Vitrac bavk to base, past charming villages such as La roque Gageac and Beynac. We were there in the off season so no one else on the river which made for a pleasant half day trip! I would... More

We were so lucky to find out about this family-run business. The staff were genuinely so lovely and friendly - we could not have asked for more! This company is also by far the best value for canoeing in the region. We hired 2 canoes and did the longest trip (28km). It is not especially hard work as the flow... More

We did a shorter canoe ride with another company a couple of days beforehand and enjoyed it so much we wanted to make a day of it. This company was one of the few to do 28km (carsac to d'enveaux) and also allow you to get back at your own pace. You are taken in a minivan to the start... More

A great morning out with my 9yr old nephew. Great staff advised us of a great place to stop and meet my parents (who didn't canoe) along the way for a snack and a drink. Beautiful scenery, take a zip lock bag for your camera, although you are provided with a waterproof bucket, this enables you to carry your camera... More

A great company to use when doing a trip down the Dordogne. We took out 3 canoes for the 6 of us, along with our Golden Retriever – all 7 of us loved it! The 14 km trip down the river took us about 3 to 4 hours but that was including a picnic on the banks of the river... More

So pleased we chose this provider! A family operation, and the minivan transport is 'rustic', but unlike other operators you are transported up river, then take as much or little time returning to your starting point and car (rather than waiting for the rest of the group to finish before being driven to your car at the starting point like... We went last year, and it really was one of the best days of our lives. Hoping to back this year. This company were superb, everything was seamless, and it is unbelievable value. You must do this. If you're worried about the language barrier, just use google translate, and email them.

Signposted from the main road, the booking point is easy to locate. Once kitted out by the friendly staff you are driven 10 minutes to the starting point. It's then a very gentle paddle back to the booking office, passing some stunning scenery on the way, and giving one or two dragonflies a free ride down the river. Make sure... More

I really wanted to have a go at this, after seeing some of the sights, from beside the Super clear river Dordogne. So we re adjusted our itinerary to fit this in. We chose the ling 28Km 5 hour trip, for several reasons. Leaving near St Vincent, Our bus and Canoes, took us to Carsac Where it all began. Some... More
