Though this is a re-built version, if following the original design, one would get amazed by the wisdom of people of hundreds years ago. If to visit the bridge, can go to Yanai at the same time.

Unique bridge that one should see - a bit expensive to walk over and be careful because so many umbrellas and no one has any idea about moving around other people.

A wonderfully elegant wooden bridge that was a joy to walk across to the old town area of Iwakuni on the other side.

Lots of good memories to be made at this bridge, whether you walk across it or just enjoy it from afar, it's beauty and elegance lasts a lifetime, I will never forget the Kintai Bridge.

It is a bridge. Beautiful, yes, exciting, not so much. May be because I am a mechanical engineer, not a civil engineer. You will have to pay to cross it, so if you do not want to pay for it, park the other side of...More

If it is a chilly winter you will most likely see blossoms in early April, but having said that, even if you are late the trip up the mountain to the castle makes the trip worth while. We loved the area and will most likely... More
