Very interesting trip underground. The kids loved the yellow train down to the cavern and getting to be miners. Phil green (hope I'm correct) was our guide and was very knowledgeable and funny. It was cold and wet but we all enjoyed ourselves!

Hi, Yes it is advisable to book in advance. On wet days ~ it only rains in school holidays ~ we can be fully booked for the day by 11.00. If you book online you can take advantage of the £10 early bird tickets. You can... More

Hello, The Deep Mine tour takes you 500ft underground and is about 1/2 mile walk through the caverns dug out by hand in candle light. There are 61 steps down part way round the tour. The Quarry Explorer Tour is a trip in an... More
