A restored chateau with a themed treasure hunt in the grounds and chateau. Easy parking, and friendly staff with good English. The theme of the sequential clue-based treasure hunt this year was pirates, and we had great fun following the clues around the grounds and chateau. You can choose English clues and get an English briefing at the start, but... More

We took our 7 year old on a cloudy day. Great idea, he was able to read all the clues and take charge which he liked!) Some clues were a bit tricky but we managed. It was very busy and at some places there were queues but on a Sunday in peak season that is to be expected! Very cleverly... More

We had a rented a gite in the area and were looking for an activity to keep the kids amused and stumbled across reviews for this and thought it looked fun. Firstly, it isn't inexpensive. It was 50 Euros for our family to visit (2 kids, 2 adults). The food once inside was reasonably priced and the quality was pretty... More

We had a lot of fun here. The treasure hunt is well organised and high quality, with clues that are simple enough for the kids to enjoy. The chateau itself is also stunning. I little bit crumbly in places but that adds to its charm. Some of the features are relaly unusual, like the amazing glass house at the centre... More

We came here early August with two young kids (5 and 2). I would recommend the activity, we've done these before in France and this was a good pirates based story. The main plusses were the lovely grounds, the ample picnic areas and the unexpected small petting zoo (goats) in the middle. The restaurant / toilets are not the best,... More

We took our two boys here, who were initially quite sceptical, but then got into the pirate story that unfolds as one follows the trail around the grounds and through the chateau. The English signage was generally clear and well written, with only the very occasional odd translation. After completing the quest we then had lunch there, which as some... More

Having tried to visit numerous chateaux around the loire with moaning.bored children (mine) spoiling it, this was a great idea! A really fun, well thought out pirate-themed treasure hunt that kept our children (5 and 7) amused for several hours. We all enjoyed it very much. It is carefully planned so you cover all the grounds, inside the chateau and... More

We have visited the chateau three times with our two youngsters (now 8 & 6) and the quality of the pirate game is better than the previous 3 musketeers. Little farm with goats a nice interlude half way around. A bit expensive but the kids enjoyed it and lots of shade welcome in the heat. Tip: eat at the Aire... More

We took our 3 yr old here and whilst he was way too young to do the trail by himself, he really enjoyed going round and doing the activities with help. Loads of picnic areas, although the cafe was closed when we went so take your own food. Would highly recommend it for families of 3 yr olds to c.... More

We were there with 2 children. The place was convenient and we could eat in the park. The games were varied and agreable. A very pleasant day.
