This is a cute, tidy museum with some nice Roman statues and a really cool Hittite dagger. It is a free museum and takes about 20 minutes to see the whole thing. It is air-conditioned so it makes for a nice break from the summer...More

Unfortunately the museum was closed due to renovation when we visited Amasra. But we were together with a history professor who is specialized in Amasra and thanks to his deep knowledge, we have been able to enjoy the impressive artefacts displayed in the beautiful gardens....More
