Mac-Mac pools, although beautiful, are barely visible from the caged-in elevated view at the top. A hiking option down to the pool would be preferred. Stopping at the indicated viewing area costs a small amount of money, and if you need a quick rest stop...More

Take time to walk all the tracks, getting different views of Falls and Gorge. Entrance fee minimal. Lot of craft sellers who will bargain. Also nearby Mac Mac Pools where children can swim.

You pay 10 rands to see this waterfall from above. If you’re going from sabie to graskop, you skip the line and go down from a small path you can use. Just good to take some photos

Majestic waterfall however the viewing deck does not do justice to the length of the falls. Arts and crafts for sale as well

Very well run with ample parking. Nobody can take credit for the falls being natural but the area and path leading to the falls is clean, neat and well maintained. Very beautiful.

Mac Mac falls is beautiful, but not from the top, hiking down is at own traveler's risk but totally worth it, there is a path & locals can show you, a breathtaking site at the bottom

Worth a quick stop when passing by. There's a nominal fee charged to park your car. The path down to the lookout point is quite rocky, so can be a bit tricky to manage for elderly or disabled. The falls are nice but not that...More

I thought you would be able to get closer but after a 5-10 min downhill walk you end up looking through some iron prison bars . The falls are quite far away from you . You also have to pay to enter the car park...More

I tried going to God’s window but the road was blocked by a truck so we had to find a consolation prize. This falls weren’t. It’s beautiful but you see it from far distance and the view point is caged so you can’t even take...More

We had a great time at Mac Mac falls, nice view, and very friendly people, walk to falls just a little long for senior citizens, the rest is very good, with clean ablutions.

Open 6am to sunset. One can also reach the viewing point from the side of the road(150m further down from official entrance) should the gates be closed.
