Have visited this place on numerous occasions, the road is to the beach is narrow & some folk don't get the size of their own car, can make for an interesting trip. Yet once there, there are numerous walks, unspoiled beach & a lovely little Cafe. I didn't visit the Cafe today, yet my youngest daughter was more concerned with... More

Our family spent the morning here shell and fossil hunting. My daughter loved collecting hundreds of different shells in the rock pools and we found many different fossils. We loved it here. The view is gorgeous. It is a rock and pebble beach so it wouldn't be suitable for elderly or disabled visitors. In the high season,I would get here... More

Love this rugged old beach....only there isn't much beach! Great for walks across the cliffs. Ok if you're ok to negotiate rocks to get on to the bit of beach when the tied is out but either way this is a great place to visit.

A little different, as there is mostly rock and gravel. Small car park, hard to park. Good views, plenty of places to walk. Cliff top lovely, but be careful!!

Recommend wellies while walking to this beach in the winter, my shoes were filthy. Lovely view from the top of the hills. Very pebbley beach. Shop there to buy coffee and lollypops. Lovely views.

Get some fish and chips from the town and take them to the beach, find a rock and sit there and enjoy the sea view. Not a beach for miles of walking but you can walk over the cliff for a good view too. Parking is free but limited.

A bit rocky, but at low tide some nice sand for the kids to play on. Got a bit wet, but had a nice brunch in Cafe Unwind in the centre of Llantwit major, child friendly, what a find, little gem of a Cafe ;)

Stopped here on a recent walk along the coastal path. The beach is clean, large and has a lifeguard station, manned during the summer. There is a small cafe serving drinks and food.
