Nice location. Nice cafe which sells a good selection of hot and cold produce. Plenty of parking available.

Family get together so we headed to the beach. The surf was rolling in well so the grand children and me enjoyed splashing around. The water was lovely and warm I’m pleased to report. It’s a good beach, sandy, quite natural and bordered by suitably...More

Winding lane to access this beach through a lovely green valley with a sparkling stream running through it. One of my favourite beaches despite the almost complete lack of sand.

I've lived in South Wales for years and didn't even know Llantwit Major had a beach! Much quieter than other beaches in the area. Free parking is a definite bonus. Good facilities and lovely staff at the cafe. Great place to spend a sunny day.

Lovely coastal beach, not a sandy beach but this should not put you off from visiting. Perfect for a nice walk.

I was lucky enough to visit this beach one glorious sunny evening. The tide was out exposing flat rocks and rock pools. There are some large stones to walk over to get to the beach. There are high cliffs with stunning views across to Somerset...More

Great beach plenty off rock pools, and if your lucky you can find some hermit craps. Try to go at low tide and you get some sand.

The beach is a long drop down the cliff from the town but we drove down, plenty of free parking available. There's a small basic but expensive cafe (compared to other local pricing) and outside benches with a river beside that seems to be where...More

Stopped off today at this quiet bay. Spacious car park was a reward after the single track road drive down from village. Coastal footpaths in both directions from car park and lovely jurrasic beach to wander over looking for fossils.

Lovely little beach great for walking and exploring, with cliff top walks for the more energetic. A cafe and toilets make it a perfect sunny day location

I am severely disabled, walking either with the aid of a stick, or else using a wheelchair. Providing one is sensible, access is tricky but far from impossible.
