We weren't allowed beyond the barrier in the car, so parked up and walked through a housing complex. You could access the beach down a path. We didn't bother as there were no facilities whatsoever. Think it mostly used by locals at he weekend.

Saturday 22nd September and we visited this beach and the marina, we had to park on the roadside and walk a good 10 minutes to the beach.
The beach and marina are situated on the other side of a gated private urbanisation and we were not allowed to drive past the security gate.
The beach is a small stretch of golden sand with no facilities, there are no toilets or sunbeds and umbrellas to hire, everything has to be carried to the beach.
It was getting rather busy with a lot of people turning up when we were there.
Ther pathway to the marina is currently under construction in places, however, it is still possible to walk around to it. While walking around we came across a small SPAR, where we purchased 2 ice creams which we ate while walking around the marina admiring some of the wonderful boats moored up there.
As we walked back to the car we were looking at the propertys in the urbanisation, some of them were spectacular.
Sadly we did notice a lot of rubbish had been thrown over the fence on to some unused land along the roadside. It looked like some visitors to the beach cannot be bothered to take their rubbish home so it gets tossed over the fence, shameful.

Perfect for anything admiring the day or night. Lovely sandy beach for the day and at night it comes alive with the vibrant promenade.
This includes some top end retail and excellent bars cafes etc.
Great to watch the sunset too.

The walk along the promenade at Meloneras to the lighthouse is lovely, and i imagine even more so at night when it is all lit up. Avoid though if your wife has a penchant for the designer shops along the way.......

Very clean beach, nice atmosphere, the waves were rippling gently, the air was pregnant with the smell of salt.

One of my requirements for a foreign holiday is a long sandy beach on which to do an hour long walk each day and if the water is suitably warm (as it was whilst we were there in early October) a swim. We are not interested in the usual tourist sea sports so it was pleasant to note just one, surfing school. There are restaurants located near the 'landmark lighthouse' with a few 'kabins' dotted along the beach thereafter. For those who like to go 'au natural' then 20 minutes from the lighthouse will suit you!! Although there were plenty of walkers, the beach area is amply wide to accommodate all. We bring a bottle of water with us but as other writers have correctly noted the absence of a toilet is unfortunate. Nevertheless, we will be back to walk its beautiful sands.

I've just read the reviews for Playa Pasito Blanco. It would seem not many actually knew where they were. The beach is located actually in Pasito Blanco. You can not drive in as we have 24 hour security and unless they are told you are coming by a resident you will not be able to drive in. You can however park outside of security and walk to the beach. There are no facilities on the beach - no restaurants and no toilets. We have a small Spar shop not far from the beach and la punta restaurant on the other side of the marina (members only at Easter, July, August and first 2 weeks of September). It is a lovely beach but inundated with locals at the weekends who leave all their rubbish behind too - not only on the beach but under or next to their cars outside security. Sometimes they even throw bags of it over the fence into the golf course!!! 😤 Isn't that lovely of them!
