As an avid admirer of Roman culture, history and architecture this site was a must see for me. This area offers a the visitor a good opportunity of Roman life including mosaics, amphitheater and roads leading to various part of Ostia Antica.

It offers you the chance to walk through a Roman city. Well preserved and restored unlike Pompeii most of the mosaics are original. Lots to see.

Not recommended. There are no paved walkways in Ostia Antica.

I would say it will be quite tricky, because all paths/roads are not flat.
