Domain Wienbach is a real pearl among Alsace wineries. Centuries of history, coming back to 1612 Les Clos de Capucines origin. One of its terroirs, the 2012 Gran Cru Schlossberg, has been named among Top 5 of Alsace Riesling 2016 Vivino Wine Style awards. Well...More

We visited Weinbach for the first time even though we have been to Alsace more than 25 times. The wines on the other side we enjoyed at home and on restaurants several times before. This old monetary is in itself a fantastic place to see....More

The Domaine is in between Keintzheim and Kaysersberg. There is no tour but a very comprehensive wine tasting of one of the best wine makers in the area including their Grand Cru Riesling. We got to taste the Pinot Gris, Gewurtztraminer, Eau de Vie and...More

If you visit the area, you MUST visit the Weinbachs, and try their amazing wines. They are expensive, but worth every penny. Buy at least one bottle and save it for something truly special. The most amazing wines, the most amazing hosts.

Outstanding wines served in a magnificent setting. Not easy to find though since the signs does not say Domaine Weinbach (well at least not that we could see). Wines are not cheap but absolutely fantastic. Worth a detour.

We visited this winery in search of fine rieslings - and we got them! This is a very expensive place to shop wine; but the quality matches the wine. The attendant, who was in charge of the tasting was very competent.

This seems like an extraordinary place to visit for a tasting. Most of these reviews mention high prices for the wine. Could anyone specify the price range? We'd like to make sure we budget enough money to buy a bottle after tasting.

An ordinary recent wine is typically Eur 30-50. Vendagne tardives from a remarkable year might be 100+.
