It was exciting to go 100 meters below and have a boat ride while viewing a wonder of nature! The explanations were very informative and the guides were careful looking out for us.

The train journey sounds great but your are packed in tighter than sardines and the route/tunnel is very narrow. Once in the cave it is a lot more spacious and a guide will take you round. Really good if you are passing but don't make...More

A fun little train took us to the start of the tour. Spectacular caverns but the tour was probably an hour too long (took almost 2 hours). Also, we have very limited French (and our 10 year old none at all) and the tour was...More

These caves are a wonderful sight to see. I only wish we had only taken 1.25hr v's 1.75hr. If you are French or speak French well, you will enjoy it more than we did. For every bit of French explanation we only received 10%. Make...More

There are enough reviews about this place to get a good idea of what it is. Its beautiful inside the cave with nice lighting and most people really like it. However, I say its not for everyone because the "train trip" is only about 5...More

I have visited many many caves, especially in the beautiful Dordogne region. This one was almost a nightmare experience to me. If you have the impression (like I did) that your visit is done by a modern electric train, then this is your first big...More

Absolutely a must visit, well organized, fun little train to go to the first cave. Absolutely stunning caves with impressive views. Some caves are huge, others a bit small or low. But all are easy acces. We had a blast!! Must visit!

We enjoyed the visit and the caves are amazing. A little train takes you into the caves, it's chilly inside and one needs something like a light jacket or cardigan. The tour is quite long and there is a lot of walking, standing and steps....More

The guided boat ride through the underground caverns is a spectacular treat. The guides speak French of course but will also explain in English if requested. The entire Dordogne region is the most beautiful and fascinating region in France.

We dropped by here on our way to find a restaurant to have dinner and decided to take the tour of the caves before eating. We did not regret that at all! The caves are amazing and just magical. It was a bit of walking...More

Thank you for your commentary. As you said all of our guides don't speak english that's why we are working on an application for translating the guide's speech to english people. See you soon.

no. there are lots of steps some are very steep. with the dampness in the cave places are slippy so for me even carrying a baby could be tricky. there are also places where you need to duck your head.
