Neat attraction!

I'm surprised I didn't hear of this before, living in Skåne all these years. The actual indoor... read more

A visit to the Trelleborgen is a veritable time travel, and it is a real pity that only part of the outer defensive wall has been dug up and made accessible to the public. In spite of the partial restoration, the structure gives you a...More

I'm surprised I didn't hear of this before, living in Skåne all these years. The actual indoor museum is nothing to write home about, but it is cheap and it feels good supporting the museum, even if the more interesting (outdoor) exhibits you can access...More

Trelleborgen is accesible free of charge and its possible to Walk around the structure all year. There is however a small museum which is only open in the summer period so to get the full experience visit then.

Recently found and recreated ancient site, a Viking ring fort. Around a quarter of the complete circle has been reconstructed. Adjacent park includes a set of marshy ponds with the best collections of frogs calling I have ever come across. Lots of fish too.

Nice grounds with small pond. I actually enjoyed watching the wildlife (the endangered frogs) more than the actual site. They charge a small amount, but don't seem to actually check if you have paid or not. Very tiny museum. Our group was there almost 2...More

History Easy to access. Short visit Max 1,5 hour long. It's close to the city Trelleborg and the old Streets and church.
