Loverly private gardens with glorious views of the surroundings countryside, we booked our visit and enjoyed an amusing time exploring the gardens and looking at the children’s adventure play area, which we knew of grandchildren who would have enjoyed it. There is a cafe onsite that served rally good fair and exceedingly good cakes. A must visit if attractions off the beaten track are for you.

Gardens don't really do it for me, but we knew the place served food and we needed a light lunch after walking nearby. My mushroom soup was clearly made on site, and was as good as it gets; lots of mushroom, well seasoned, really generous portion of homemade bread, big slab of butter. Water offered, which came with ice. Proprietors were really friendly, welcoming people. Nice to find place where simple things are executed well and with a smile.

We were blown away by the garden and the work and love which has clearly gone into it. The owners gave us a lovely welcome. We saw before & after pictures & learnt of their very personal reason for taking on such a bold but rewarding project. The sandwiches & cuppa were made with love & served with friendly banter. Just loved our visit & surely will go back . Thank you for being an important part of our day out

What a lovely place to visit. We went twice over a week on route to our holiday destination. We had lunch the first day which was delicious and on the second day a week later we had breakfast which was gorgeous. They are so incredibly friendly and the place itself is beautiful. Sat nestled in the hills, the garden itself it spectacular with fantatsic views, this is a hidden gems. There is a children's play area a Fort in the hill with a zip wire and there is a trampoline sunken into the ground. There is a lovely shop, chickens, geese, birds and wildlife galore. This place is well worth the visit. We loved it so much we booked one of there property's, the pigsty to stay for a short break.

If you love visiting gardens you won’t be disappointed as Caerau Gardens is an absolute gem. The gardens themselves are nothing short of amazing, the owners vision, hard work and obvious dedication to their work is heartwarming and shows clearly as you move from one area to another. The owners Spaniels greeted us at the end of the drive and then gave us a guided tour, much to the delight of our own dog! The cafe serves delicious homemade food, everything from cream teas and cakes to soups, pies and even goat curry! We had the cream teas, courgette soup and sandwiches with runner bean chutney. All lovely and fresh and great value for money. We stayed for three and a half hours and it was plenty of time to wander gently and have our food. The owners were very friendly, chatty and also very funny, we laughed a lot during our visit 😊 Well worth a visit with or without children, there is a lot for kids to engage with as well as plenty of room for them to burn off some energy. We can’t recommend Caerau Gardens enough! Keep up the good work, from Ann, Jacqui, Leah and Dave the dog.
