Have not been to Porthcawl for many years,pleasantly surprised very clean.Lots of dogs and joggers. Everyone cleans up after their dogs,did not come across any dog mess....10 out of 10

Well, been coming here since I was 9 years of age with brother on family holiday. Miles of beach to run your legs off, rock pools to marvel at and see nature close up. Nearly always here with the dogs and they love it!! Great...More

Called here mid October for a walk with the dog. Suprised to see a superb walkway has been constructed over past 5 years. Its just a fabulous place in Great Britain

Have visited this beach since a child and is the best beach in area by far. Lovely board walk which takes you to Pink Bay another lovely beach. Gets extremely busy in summer but when tide out plenty of room on beach so never seems...More

Nice to visit here, always clean and easy to get around. Town has nice holiday feel, great to watch all the fancy bikes and cars drive past or watch the boats.

Stumbled across Rest Bay by accident it is stunning and full of surfers, lovely coffee box at the top and plenty of parking with reasonable prices too, in all very pretty and lots of areas of shelter too.

There is a pay & display car park nearby. The tariff is cheaper during the winter season than the summer. I don't know the actual prices as we walked from Porthcawl town centre.

During the Summer months at Rest Bay, Dogs are banned of the main section of the beach (Rest Bay point til Golf Bay). The ban is from the 1st of May until the 30th of September.
