About
Experience Wood Shed’s Interactive Targets! Featuring digital lanes, projector based targets, offering interactive games and scoring. We opened our doors in 2016, and offer 8 lanes of axe throwing, with the ability to host groups of up to 60 people. Axe throwing is a one-of-a-kind activity, and our interactive targets are wildly engaging, built using the latest technology creating a unique experience for anyone and everyone age 10 and up. Our coaches are the best in the business, and they are excited to share their knowledge with you. We are conveniently located in beautiful Sylvan Lake, forged from the history of the local logging industry. Since you can bring your own food into our facility, we encourage eating local! We do offer alcoholic beverages, soda and light snacks.

We booked on-line easily and had a lane for the two of us for an hour. We were given instruction before we started and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Really enjoyed the hour which went so fast.
Good value and atmosphere.
Definitely give it a go if you are in the area.
Parking right outside.

We are two senior couples that went to the Wood Shed for something different to do. We enjoyed it very much! It was a blast!
The owner was very helpful and friendly. The orientation was excellent! The games you can play were awesome!
The place is very clean, neat and well organized. We will definitely go back and will tell family and friends about as well.

This was an amazing experience! My daughter and her husband took me out for my birthday. We were first taught how to throw an are 2 handed then one handed. We played a game and it was competitive and soo much fun. The gentleman then showed us a different game. It was fun, engaging, competitive and I got to spend time with my daughter and son in law.

Heard about the Wood Shed from friends & thought we should go check it out. We went on a Saturday afternoon during one of their drop in sessions. Kat, our instructor was awesome. She helped us to master several different styles of throws. Life is all about experiences & this one was well worth the money.

Decided to try something different for our team building and this was such a good time!! Everyone in our group had a blast and The Wood Shed was so accommodating and understanding when our group was late. It was easy and fun; time flew by too fast. Will definitely go back with friends to try again. If the Wood Shed was closer would totally join the league...cause I am that good LOL.

We had fun with your group too! I would suggest moving to Sylvan Lake, as it's a good thing to do. We'd love to have you compete in our league. Thanks for coming and throwing axes with us.

It was a fantastic team building event! The Woodshed staff was very attentive, friendly and taught the techniques of throwing the axe! Great job! We had an awesome time, lots of fun! Excellent new experience! We would love to do it again!

Following instruction, our group had ample opportunities to learn and finesse Axe Throwing, while coaches offered helpful comment. Everybody got a bullseye at least once!

I highly recommend The Wood Shed for a date night with your partner. We were looking for something to do other than the normal movie night and axe throwing was a great way to spend some couple time. The staff was excellent and learning to throw was easy. Challenging my spouse to some friendly yet competitive games made the experience even more fun. We will be back!

Took my BF here for his birthday and it was awesome! It was really fun and something completely different. We would definitely come back and recommend it to our friends. Nice price, helpful staff, and they show you how to do it, so you don’t kill each other. Hands down super cool date idea!

We were a group of 8 out for our staff Christmas Party. The staff were friendly and organized. We had a practice session followed by a tournament. This is a great outing if you’re looking for something a little different.
