While stay in St. Luis, I was able to take a day trip to this amazing national park. It was a long day, but I highly recommend it, if you are in the city. I was picked up at the hotel at 4:00 am and returned at 8:00pm. It was a 4hr. drive ( took 45 minutes just to leave... More

Lençois is a place to visit in your life. White desert with fresh water lagoons! Best to get to Atins, as you will get deeper in the desert while from barreirinhas you only get to the first dune!

A must go for everyone. This an unique place in the world. I don't recommend it for people with walking restrictions because you need to go up and down on the dunes, and it demands physical effort. Don't forget to check up the months when the lagoons are full, and bring sunblocks and light clothes.

To have the unique feeling that one intends to try to reach less touristy places. Look for full-day rides to lesser-known park areas. Anyway, it's always worth going.

It is hard to get there but once you are there is a nice adventure. Try to go between the months of February and August when the lagoon have more water. The trip from Barreirinhas takes about 45 minutes on a 4 x 4 vehicle. Be careful with branches and weeds hitting the vehicle on the trip since many of... More

Amazing dunes, clear water lagoons, the sea is nearby, and the rides that take you there are all entertaining and adventurous (jeeps, quad cycles). A must for adventure seeking a completely unique setting.

This is really a place worth travelling, as long as you are willing to spend some hours driving from the airport. Recommended!

Very disappointed in the trip. The park is over one hour from Barrerinhas on a terrible road. When you arrive at the park the Dunes are beautiful, the lake is also lovely but there are no toilets or snack bars. Some local people sell coconut water and water. The sunset was suppose to be beautiful but it was very cloudy.... More
