The place is practically empty save for the Tinapa Lakeside Hotel, the water park, and the newly commissioned monorail. It is so sad that management has allowed such a lovely space rot.

Horrible place run down by the management and state government. The whole place looks like a haunted city. Was really disappointed because i really looked foward to seeing the famous Tinapa...Guess i got the memo late!

We got to Tinapa after our retreat and it was like a ghost town. Tinapa is full of potential and needs the right attention from the government.

Tinapa is one of the most beautiful thing that has happened to Calabar in the last 10 years! Lovely African textile shops at affordable prices.

Relaxing city with so much to see in the old city. And history museum and slave routes. Good food and very friendly people. Also price is reasonable
