We were able to visit this gorgeous beach as part of a tour arranged from Cabarete. We had lunch and were able to enjoy this beach for 1 hour. Wish we could have stayed half day there. Must see!

Wonderful place to rest and enjoy the sun. We visited during the week and it was almost like having our own special place.

Jenny & Aimee with the entertainment crew have done a fabulous job keeping us busy. Miguel and Julio Caesar were our above and beyond servers each day and always kept us hydrated. The beach party was so fun and the kids really enjoyed the food, drinks, fire show and more!

Still one of my favourite beach around the area. Wide and comfortable to walk or swimming. Beautiful scenarios and nice to come and relax or enjoy the view.

The sand is like brown sugar. There is a red flag 🚩 on the beach which means don’t swim past it because of the rip tide, no one told me that & I got caught out there. Luckily a surfer came & helped me back. Just be careful. We had the lobster but it was over cooked & dry with no butter. I wouldn’t buy that again. It was nice to eat on the beach tho. There are vendors but they don’t beg you to buy stuff whereas some other beaches are high pressure. Lovely place.

We went to the beach yesterday. All the other comments about the food, service and location are accurate. We settled in for a beautiful day but noticed that the ocean was very rough and made the decision that we would not go anywhere near the water. We were surprised to see two men in the water but they were pretty close to shore. Within a half an hour one of the men had drowned. My husband was one of six people who tried to save him and he and the others were nearly pulled out to sea themselves by the strong current. After about ten minutes a jetski came from somewhere and loaded the man and pulled him ashore. My husband tried CPR but the man was probably deceased before he even got brought into shore. I would strongly caution against going into the water at this beach unless it is extremely calm with no waves whatsoever.

We were deeply disturbed by the attitude of the other white people and Europeans on the beach. They literally sat there and watched a man drown and die without getting out of their chairs or doing anything to offer to help. They continued eating their meals and drinking their Mojitos. It was disgusting.

It was our favorite beach in the DR... Took a while to get there (we had a car), it's about an hour from Cabarete. Amenieties on the beach are great: showers, local food, is a very private setting.
We were greated by a man who guided us further on the beach under trees... I delt 5 beach chairs for 500 Pesos and he also brings a table and regular chairs for eating! The perfect set up! Food is fresh and very local (everything comes with rice and fried plaintain)... It was excellent and really cheap!
Water is clear and beach amazingly quiet. We were alone for most of the morning, maybe went up to 20 people at the most at our end of the beach, but no one if you walk a little.
A must if you are not in a resort type of vacation. One of our most enjoyed days over two weeks.
