Not one of the most famous place to visit in Sweden, but definitely worth a visit, amazing castle surrounded by the water and perfectly preserved

No map to really guide you once inside. Confusing where to go with several flights up and down. English tours were not available due them being beyond the main season. Film first is a good idea. Pretty good signage in English. $12 per person entry...More

Nice place to visit for a insight into a well kept castle. Still has some historical furniture etc inside. Cool.

It was good and the art work was neat. I wish there was more to see in side. There were large portions of the castle that we're virtually empty. But other than that it was neat to be in something that's older than America.

Very impressive castle in a very beautiful location. During the low season, you might not find it open!

We arrived to Vadstena during November evening and went to see the castle directly. One could not see much due to complete lack of light. Such a magnificent castle would look wonderful with lights on the fasade. Out of season it is only open for...More

The Vadstena Castle is massive in more ways than one. Certainly it is big and the location on Vattern Lake is even more so. Such a grand position deserves grandeur and this castle delivers. A must see.
