This is a fantastic museum at a place that is of importance to Canadians, where our troops landed on D-Day to help with the liberation of Europe. The museum presents information beginning in the 1930s, showing life in Canada in the pre-war period, the events...More

We visited all the beaches, and we found Juno and Utah to have the best museums and memorials. It's a smaller museum, worth visiting, shows a bit of background and 10 yrs pre-war Canadian history which was unknown to us as we aren't Canadian. At...More

It made me better understand the sacrifices made by all those very young Canadians. The museum is well laid out and informative. The film is thought provoking. A must see for all Canadians.

Tranquil sand dunes and gentle lapping waves on the beach make it hard to imagine what it must have been like to storm the beach and create a beach-head. The museum is very comprehensive and the young guides are quick to assist.

A beautiful tribute to the young, brave, Canadian soldiers that landed on Juno Beach and helped to liberate France. All you have to do is watch everyone enjoying Juno Beach to know that it was all worth it so that the French have the freedoms...More

This is a modern well laid out museum dedicated to recording the Canadian involvement in the second world war. It was air conditioned which was a bonus on a hot day. Parking is easy and right outside. First you enter into a small cinema and...More

Guide was very much engaging and gave us great information on the D-DAY landings, the museum had a great movie with cool headphone exhibits. All in all, a great experience!

We were shown around by a lovely and very knowledgeable young French Canadian lady. Very interesting facts shared and got to go inside 2 different bunkers, just the right length for us on a very hot July day.

This is a superb museum telling the story of the Canadian invasion of Juno Beach (Normandy) on D-Day. The young adults who primarily staff the Centre and give the tours are all Canadians chosen because they are around the same age as the brave soldiers...More

This can be done in one day but you will miss a lot. The drive is over 3 hours and you could see a lot in 4 to six hours. Plus you need time for lunch by the sea. It is unfortunate not to see the US and British beaches, but... More
