The lake is accessible via the main (gravel) road. The views from here are probably the best in the park without having to hike.

This is the best spot to view the "horns" and the amazing green and blue hues of the water below them. Conveniently located not too far from much of the park's lodgings. Truly feels like a place from another world.

it feels like you are inside of a painting...inside of a master`s master`s piece. breath taking,,the mountains...the graciers...the lake...the waterfall...amazing
I have seen lakes and lakes but not as beautiful as this. While doing the W it just keeps unfolding in front of your eyes (it is huge) and it keeps you company for most of your walk.
Go by car and enjoy it or do the trekking ride along side it. There's no need to spend the might outside just walk as long as you want and return to Las Torres Hotel through he Cuernos trek.
Note this lake is very large and I approached from southern side via Mirador Cuernos. An easy hour each way brings you to this lookout to Cerro Paine Grande and Curenos Del Paine. You can't get closer unless you hike under these mountains! Pack a...More
