It takes about 30 minutes to hike to this glacier. The path is a bit rocky but not a problem if you are careful. Not too steep. The glacier is not that big and empties into a lake. A pretty scene.

We took a boat trip, then got off the boat and walked the trail to the glacier. The trail walk took an hour. There are attendants along the way to remind visitors not to take photos till the return journey. This is to keep the foot traffic moving. There are several spots along the way for photography. The glacier itself does not seem to be too massive from land, but it is as close as we can get to a glacier.

The glacier is stunning. The changing colours depending on the lighting. The ice formations and incredible sky to contrast the glacier. Worth just sitting and observing - truly lovely.

We took a day trip via boat with Patagonian Adventures. The tour company is very professional and i would recommend.

We travelled in Chile's winter and had snow the day we travelled, which made walking to the glacier unsafe. I can imagine it would be incredible - it was from a distance!

We have visited glacies from all over the world and these were some of the most beautify. The lack of pollution and remoteness has kept them pristine.

Its was a lovely walk to the glaciers thru tree and fuchsias in bloom. A dramatic visual aid of climate change. Stakes along the way to the foot show where the glacier was 10, 20 and 30 years ago. Huge difference. Lots of calving when we were there. We arrived by zodiac.

Very good attraction went there in the afternoon. Quite a long walk to the Serrano Glacier and got quite wet on the boat trip.

Took a boat trip to see the Balmaceda and this glacier. Nice trip even though it rained! Dress warmly in layers with a hat & gortex!

We took a 3-hour boat ride to get to the trail for this glacier. The boat ride passes a lot to see, and it is well worth most of a day round-trip to do so. There is a way to take smaller boats from this spot further into Torres NP.

From the dock, it is a 25-minute walk to the glacier base with some tricky footing. Beautiful place.
