To meet someone who enthuses the passion of their vocation is fantastic. I would recommend that you ask for the guided tour of the centre. Geologically, Newfoundland is mind blowing and to see and have a lesson of world class Trilobites is an added bonus.

An incredible place to sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee. The architecture is fascinating, the view is incredible and the walking trails are a great way to get out and enjoy what nature has to offer

Get place for kids and adults alike to learn about fossils and the history of Manuel's River. Also the view of the river system and getting out in nature is a wonderful experience for anyone.

As a child we would pack a picnic and go to the Manuels flats for the day. The rocks there are large but flat. A great place for a swim and then sit back and eat. Over time and with alt of investment a walking...More

The centre is relatively new and situated on the Manuels River. The river has been a site for fossil hunters for more than 100 years and some of the specimens on display are amazing. We had our own guide to show us round the exhibits...More

This newly built centre has a small but good coffee shop, a souvenir shop and interesting displays about local nature with a highlight on the trilobites the area is famous for. There are great hikes in both directions from the interpretation centre, and both pools...More
