Great to visit before the Penguin parade. There are some of those little ones under the board walk and you can take pictures, which you can't at the parade. Lovely views too!

We called at this place a bit by surprise. It has awesome scenery. We took the walk to the blowhole and walked on the board walk. To our Surprise we found many blue penguins nestling about the undergrowth... the walk was well worth the effort to reach the blowhole..

The new Nobbies Centre is a beautiful new building with a glas facade facing the Nobbies and Seal Island. There's a decent restaurant and gift shop as well as a very cool interactive centre which takes about half an hour to go through. Afterwards a stroll on the boardwalk highlights the spectacular coastline and the Nobbies and Litle Penguins can... More

Dear David R Thank you for your feedback and review of your recent visit to the Nobbies. It is indeed one of the most beautiful views on the island, or pretty much anywhere for that matter, and it's certainly one of my favourite places. I'm glad you enjoyed the Antarctic Journey interactive experience as well as a stroll along the... More

Spent an afternoon here, killing time until the Penguin Parade. Nice walk down on the boardwalk where there were some wonderful views and photo opportunities. Nice little cafeteria and reasonably sized souvenir shop. The drive out there is very pleasant. Saw several kangaroos close up.

Went here before going over to watch the Penguins and this place was awesome! There's a restaurant but it can get very hot with the big windows overlooking the sea.

The interactive center was ok but not worth the entry fee. Nice views and walk. Pity there weren't any seals when we visited.

Dear Modman68 Thank you for your feedback and review of your recent visit to the Nobbies. I'm glad you enjoyed the views and the walk, and that you got to see a couple of penguins. The seals tend to stay out on Seal Rocks, about 1.5 km offshore. At any one time there are between 5,000 and 8,000 seals on... More

What a gorgeous place, the views are spectacular and seeing the little penguins up close was a treat. The walk to the blowhole is easy and accessible for everyone. If you're lucky you might spot a penguin in the boxes or under the stairs like we did.

Stunning views from the Nobbies Centre. Cafe on-site, good selection of souvenirs in the shop. Would recommend doing the Antarctic journey, very interesting exhibits and information, lots of interactive displays.

We were staying in Cowes for ten days for World Superbike testing and the race weekend. We had a free day on Wednesday so decided to take a drive to The Nobbies. It was a nice day with a fairly stiff breeze. There are very spectacular rock formations and a lot of birdlife out on the rocks. The sea was... More
