Absolutely LOVED every minute of Bora Bora and I’m happy that I was blessed to have visited this gorgeous place. Definitely make sure to take several excursions to fully experience the beauty of the lagoon.
Bora Bora is a beautiful island, and we want to return. We were on a cruise and stopped in Papeete, Tahiti, where there were numerous vendors selling tours. Doing our homework, we were interested in a circle snorkel tour, allowing us to see the entire...More
My husband enjoyed snorkeling in the lagoon as many gorgeous fish swam around him. The fish feeding is also very informative, and he enjoyed it so much. I took many beautiful pictures around the lagoon with the lush greenery and mountain as a back drop.
If you want a Tahitian experience the guys that did this tour were awesome! We booked it at the ferry in Papeete as we were on our way to Moorea first. Hiro, the guy at the ferry dock, did us a huge favor by convincing...More

Our hotel (Bora Bora Pearl Resort) quoted $130pp for full day. We booked direct with (Claudine's) Lagoonarium for $100pp if we paid cash. Full day tour includes a tour around the island, 4 snorkel stops which were excellent, lunch at the "lagoonarium" (which doesn't offer much... some sharks, turtles, some fish) but good place to have lunch, beer/water on the boat. I think the half day doesn't include lunch and the lagoonarium stop without eating wouldn't be worth it.
