A weird but interesting place which gathers people from all over the world. Several big and different looking Christ depictions carved in wood. Can become a bit crowded though and after a while everything starts to look the same.

Can't decide if it was more interesting or weird experience. Since I'm not religious, it was not a "pilgrimage" for me or anything to do with religion but yet something I have never seen before. The place has definitely a specific vibe. It kinda felt...More

Needs to be seen. Photos don't do it justice. Quite a special place. 10km north of Siauliai. Just over 1 km from the main road. (Signposted) You can buy crosses (starting at €1) to add to the 200,000 already there!

We took the train out of Vilnius, which we felt would be easier than taking the coach out of Riga (another route). Once off the train (it took 2 hours 10 mins), we found the easiest way to attend the hill was in a taxi....More

It has a beautiful history and impressive view. A must see in North Lithuania. Also, it is a UNESCO heritage. Also, this place in night time might be even more amazing in night time or deep and snowy winter.

Cross Hills is an amazing place to visit if you are in Lithuania. To learn its history and how it once was created, then destroyed several times in communist time. This is my third visit to it.

Andreas: There's no direct lighting, only tower lamps at the visitor center. There is, however, a paved/wooden path through the middle, but no handrails. Be careful even in the day. Someone bumped against me and neuropathy... More

The bus stop is at the intersection just southwest of the hill. Maybe 800 yard walk.If you don't have a car then the bus is best. It's cheap and easy to get to the hill with.
