Rhone American cemetary was a complete unknown to us despite having visited Normandy. The grounds were beautifully and respectfully maintained and the free guided tour including background to the cemetary, stories of a number of the men buried there and the continued on going research were really informative. Following this visit I intend doing more research on the landings in the south of France when I go home. Excellent and a location everyone in the area should spend at least 45mins in when in the area.…

Its a breathtaking and very peace-full place this American cemetery! This place is really worth visiting! Amazing how many man fell here during the war! So so terrible sad all those mostly young man who got killed! Fantastic how they are still honoured!

A must to visit at Draguignan ... just a shame it was closed on the Christmas Day ... Don’t forget to stop by the chapel
