The circle road around the King Rama Monument is a daily horror for good Farang drivers. Because of many inexperienced Thais drivers. When they enter the circle, they stopped her car. You must be each time very careful and lucky do not to enter in such cars. A chance also, when nobody cut you when you get out... For all such reasons, I call the place "The King Chance Turn "...

This is a beautiful monument of Rama 1 riding on a elephant, it was my better half that took me and told me about it. She Also told me that many people have had their wishes come true here. I gave it a go and now Iā€™m one of them. Good luck

Nicely lit at night and has an open air market and many small eating places nearby. English is spoken by almost everyone. Good place to taste authentic cuisine. Street parking is good in surrounding neighborhood. Very busy!

Its quite impressive to see in person. You will find that it is also a favorite place for the local runners and joggers to run around.

Deffinately not worth a special trip to see, but chances are, if you visit any of the historical parks in Buriram Province, you'll probably pass by. Stop for a photo or two!
