Nice Beach

This is a lovely Beach but be aware it is also a Nudist Beach. Good for fishing, close to Shops in Waipu.

This is truly worth a stop particularly between February and April after the school holidays whether you like walking along an uncrowded white sandy beach hand in hand with your loved one, maybe relaxing or going for a surf or a swim in clear water. It's a big beach with plenty of space to be alone. Easy access and free.

Have been camping here for a large number of years and is always a great place to get away and unwind during the holidays this place does get extremely packed out and often has no spots available over the Xmas/New Year period so pays to book in advance how-ever usually about 2 weeks after a majority of people have left... Our third summer holiday at Uretiti - this year in our caravan. Great days on the beach. A little too busy for my liking between Xmas and New Year but lucky we were there the week before and after. Surely be back in December 2017!

A lovely sandy beach with easy access. Safe swimming and great for families. Sadly some visitors are not respecting how beautiful NZ is and leaving their litter.

This was a break with friends to mark a birthday. With perfect weather this is a perfect place fr families and it has a place for nudists too. Its a long white sand beach but the tide doesn't come too far in so not too full of seaweed or sea rubbish. Camp is huge with clean long drop toilet facilities... More

This is a beautiful spot and we caravan here regularly. It's a large DOC camp located on State Highway 1 north of the Waipu turnoff, so there's plenty of room for all. Toilets and cold showers are provided throughout the camp and rubbish receptacles are placed by the entrance. Being right on the beachfront, it’s a very popular camp during... More

I love this spot, it's got an amazing view of bream head, whangerie and long empty beach in front. Great to camp, for picnic, walk on the beaxh or even to stop and take a break and enjoy the view.

A great beach to visit and enjoy the waves, sand and general feeling of freedom. Not so crowded in the spring; the camp used to be very busy in the summer, but have not stayed in the camp for a number of years. The recent trip back to Uretiti Beach was a nice reminder!
