Fall is only running in the Months of Monsoon and Post Monsoon. So Plan your visit accordingly.

We visited this in an off season and it was Dry. But View is great and It must be sight to behold in the Month of Monsoon.

Seven Sisters (Nohsngithaing) Waterfall is probably worth visiting at the peak of the Rainy Season - July to September. It was barely a waterfall in November; just a small stream. I have stronger water pressure from my shower at home!

During my visit to Seven Sister Falls in Cherapunji, I was mesmerized by the sheer beauty of nature. Its on the way to other tourist points and easy to access by road. No trackjng required to enjoy the view.

As I stood at the viewpoint, I could see seven magnificent waterfalls cascading down the lush green mountainside. The sound of rushing water filled the air, creating a soothing melody that echoed through the valley.

The surrounding landscape was a tapestry of vibrant colors, with wildflowers blooming in every corner. It was a surreal experience, connecting me to the raw power and serenity of Mother Nature.

There are suppose to be seven different falls at this location due to which it is also called the seven sister falls however there was very less water in the falls and we could hardly see 2-3 of the falls. We viewed these falls from both the Eco park from where you can see it’s origins and from view points from where they were hardly visible due to clouds all around. Other falls have far more water in them as compared to these falls.

When we reached the site we were disappointed with the fog with no view of the falls. We decided to take a walk around and come back. By that time the fog had lifted and we could see a range of these falls. It was not monsoon but we were lucky with rains when we visited ML. A must only if u visit during monsoon and if it rains. And oh yes dont miss the Bangladesh view from top !

Watch out for the Rainbow forming in the falls if it is raining at that time. We were privileged to witness it.

It was quite misty the day we went to see these falls. A little patience and, the fog lifted, and we were rewarded with a most amazing sight of these seven beautiful falls, almost strung together like a necklace. Beautiful sight!
