While going to Sohra from Shillong you can visit this Point. Either you can go Downstairs to two View Points or you can view from the Road. View is scenic only if you visit it in the Peak season.

Overall all a good stopover if you have spare time.

Amazing view of the valley enroute to Sohra. Worth a stop and capturing photos, but be mindful of vehicles on the road.

It's the first nice view point enroute Sohra. Nestled amidst thick forests, the place also offers zipline activity. There are few mediocre eating joints as well. Better to avoid those and just move on after a brief halt for the view

It was raining heavily when we visited the Mawkdok viewpoint but still decided to go in to have a look at the view. It has two levels - from the first level which is free to enter you can see the beautiful valley around and is worth visiting, the second level has an entry charge of ₹50 per head and from there you can also see a waterfall. We did not see the waterfall as there were too many stairs to reach the bottom.

Some guy followed me and my wife with a scooty he was not sitting properly in the scooty he followed us till our house and he just drove away without saying anything he was sitting in the middle on the scooty. He was Clearly after me and my wife. It all started when we had Maggie in mawkodock. I am scared and after having Maggie something happen to my head I can't see anything properly my eyes are covered with black mukus.

A beautiful view of the valley enroute to Shillong. Small shacks make up for your quick snack enroute. Had no time (guts :) for zip lining so skipped and spent some time just watching the grandeur of the valley.

The valley is very very scenic providing the best views for photography. We also enjoyed the Zip Lining Adventure over the valley. The experience was very well managed with all safety precautions and excellent staff. The kids in our group loved the whole adventure.

This valley was a requirement for me to see as the photos in magazines caught my eye. The visit topped the photos. The air here alone felt like the cleanest air I have ever breathed in my life. The 15 min trek down was pleasing to the eyes. There's is a small waterfall at bottom so trek all the way down. I totally love this place.

A stopover on the route from Shillong to Cherrapunjee with good views of the valley for a few pictures. Several stalls selling tea, coffee, snacks and simple meals. Has decent washrooms. Worth a break enroute.
