A visitor to Meghalaya will encounter the beautiful Mawkdok Dympep Valley along the Shillong - Cherrapunji route. Indeed, the vistas start to get more and more breathtaking after a point on this route and this is all part of the valley in question. Happily, the ride aside, any visitor can stop by the Dympep Valley Viewpoint. It is hard to... More

This is on the way to Cherrapunjee from Shillong. The valley view is good and if you love adventure, there is a zip line activity. They have two circuits. A short one (more for practice) and the long one which cuts across the valley. I think that's about 400 meters. They charge 700 for full course (2 short and two... More

Amazing valley, a delight to the eyes. Visited there during June 2016, enroute to Dawki. Usually peoples stop by the U Duwan Singh Syiem Bridge to see the valley but we went a little futher & had a better view. Have to climb up the view-point and you can see the real beauty.

The place offers breathtaking views of the valley, but is rather very crowded. A better "traveler" alternative would be gazing at the valleys somewhere en route Nongriat.

A good visit with a view. Also the thrilling part is the ropeway if you love adventure. It also has fancy khasi dress to do posing and get a picture clicked, dress cost 50 and picture another 50. If you need a picture you can click pictures from your own camera. One of the tourists friendly places but still calm... More

We did ziplining over this valley, organized by Pioneer Adventures. This valley is just magical, you cannot get enough of it. It's on the Shillong Cherrapunji highway.
