Nothing Eco about the Park, the pathways are concrete, there is minimal greenery - just a few small shrubs & flowering plants, playground area for kids made out of plastic & again set on concrete (not grass) and worst of all - litter (plastic) around the edges of the park overlooking the valley!

Views are good, but not worth the visit.

For the family. Not for friends. Huge area inside with some view points. Will be good for the elderly.

Must visit. Initially looked like it was waste going there as we could not understand to do but then we unravelled its true beauty and went for the second time also.
The place gives a picturesque view of mountains and start of major waterfall.
We walked under the bridge and discovered the flowing water and the color of the stones under it and it was a Eureka moment.

The whole experience of different shades of stones under crystal clear water, which was a silent path before it fell from high mountains and was a starting point of the waterfall.
The yellow colored grass, along side of this silently flowing water, added to its beauty.
The kids plunged into the water and played there for 45 minutes. The clear blue skies and greenery all around was a treat to the eyes.

We ended up spending 2 hours in the park, exploring its hidden beauty and the scenic places.

Do spend some time in the nature and I am sure you will fall in love with this place.

Eco park is mostly popular to view the origins of Seven sister falls and plains of Bangladesh across. The park has an entry charge for both people and vehicles. However the park is very poorly kept and not maintained at all. On cloudy days you cannot see any views of Bangladesh but you can see the Seven sister falls falling below with 2-3 falls visible from here.

Nicely laid out park. It was hot so could not explore all of the park. You should not miss some of the scenic views from some parts of the park

Do visit , initially looks like a empty hill and people at ticket counter also don't bother to tell u that it's a worth a visit.
E trance is 20 inr per person and u will get to see the seven sisters waterfalls starting to fall point form the top. U get a beautiful view of the valley below of bangledesh and the dense forest.

Created atop in the plateaus of Meghalaya by the state government, it is a great attraction for locals as well as tourists. The Shillong Agri-Hoticulture has given this park many beautiful orchids, which are housed in the Eco park's green house. Besides, the park also has a clear water stream and orchids that enhance the beauty of its landscape. A beautiful crossover bridge opens up the sweeping views of the green canyons of Sohra, and the stretching Sylhet Plains of Bangladesh.
The Eco park is the biggest view point from where one can enjoy views of the massive, plain yet exotic Sylhet Plains of Bangladesh.

It closed on Wednesday. Before visiting there confirm the day. The entry fee is only 10/- per head. If you don't have time you can skip this. But if you have time you can just cross the fencing & start a walk on the medow...it gives you an awesome feeling. On Jan, there was very less water on the falls, At that time, we got the feeling of walking on a dry river bed which is another experience for us.
