You can definitely visit here. It’s huge with colorful glass designs inside. Church ambience is always very pleasant . Structurally it was very different. Probably inspired by the home designs of Nagaland .

This beautiful iconic structure in Kohima is a famous tourist attraction, which shows the cultural heritage of Naga tribes, who embraced Christianity during rule of the British.

It is a great architectural marvel of present times, a must see place.

The Catholic Cathedral at Aradura Hill is an important landmark; it is one of the largest cathedrals in the entire northeast and is home to the biggest wooden cross in the country. The Cathedral of Kohima (Mary Help of Christians Church) is the church of the bishop of the diocese of Kohima, and hence, the main church of this diocese of Nagaland, India. The church is noted for its architecture which incorporates many elements of traditional Naga houses, including its facade which resembles that of a Naga house. The architecture of the cathedral blends into the hill on which it is situated. The 16 feet high carved wood crucifix is one of Asia's largest crosses. The cathedral was conceptualised by the first bishop of Kohima, Abraham Alangimattathil. The cathedral complex also contains Bishop Alangimattathil's tomb.

An old cathedral of the British era, or precisely World War 2. The architecture is quite amazing. It has started to erode but still a nice place to visit.

The Cathedral is a huge contemporary church with a seating capacity of 3000 set in a semi circle. It was constructed mainly through contributions from Japan as a memorial of WW2 and has been used for reconciliation meetings between Japanese and British veterans who fought during the war. It is relatively unadorned for a Catholic church but none the worse for it. It is very peaceful but as the roof is corrugated metal it must be incredibly noisy when it rains! There are great views over the city from outside.
