Our 15 year old son insisted going there and we just loved it. It is very instructed and you learn a lot about the Fjord. The staff working there is young and dynamic. It is worth a visit.

It's quite a fantastic museum, we had a great morning learning all about the fjords and local sea creatures. The guides are very knowledgeable and speak perfect English.

Great museum, it teaches very well the geological history of the region, how the river meet with the fjord and the life behind the water.

This museum is small but well maintained. When we visited in August 2016, there was a special exhibit on Wolves which was informative and well put together. My children enjoyed talking with one of the staff members about his experience working with different branches of...More

Great little museum that gives you a multifaceted account of the region - geographical, social and zoological. Add this to your list for the Saguenay!

Has a wow factor multimedia exhibit, one that will enthrall the kids. You sit in an amphitheater that realistically represents the inside of some space ship/ submarine vehicle of the future.

This really isn't much of a museum. There is an aquarium with fish indigenous to the fiord. While interesting to see the fish, it was very small and limited. There was another "touch" tank. The advertised highlight of the museum was a multimedia show explaining...More

This was a great choice for a rainy day, which prevented us from outdoor activities. The museum has a nice base of information on the fjord. They do have a small display of sea creatures that you can both see and some that you can...More

We went on a Thursday afternoon thinking it would be a nice visit. There was one small aquarium that had some fish, and one small pond where you could look at some of the creatures up close. That's basically the only thing worth visiting here....More
