Built by Man Singh in the 15th century for his favorite wife Mrignayani, Gujari Mahal is now in ruins and also an archaeological museum as it showcases various sculptures, statues and other remains dating back to 1st and 2nd century BC.

This museum is located inside the gwalior fort. The gujari palace is now converted in the museum. It has a large collection of Hindu and Jain sculptures and other historical things. Some sculptures belongs to 1st/2nd century also.

This museum just outside the entry gate was closed when we visited. Was suggested by the guide to check out the Gujari Museum as it had much more artifacts on display.
