It was raining of course, but this is an easy walk, well maintained paths and boardwalks, and good signs. We saw Red Squirrels in the forest, and the waterfalls are lovely. Great little cafe and gift shop at the end/beginning.

Pick a time anytime and its a place for a walk with a climb giving arresting views. Hidden away which brings the joy of a scenic drive. Not an all day event. Popular with photographers. Not a place for flip flops!

I've lived here all my life and walk through here most days. It's very accessible so visitors can choose if they want to walk up the steeper paths. If you're taking children, bring their wellies! Enjoy!

The best way to get to Gleno is by car as the bus service is poor. A taxi would cost five or six pounds each way but whilst the waterfall and Gleno is lovely it does not take all that long to visit them so please take this... More
