Heard good reports about the restaurant so thought we would give it a try, we weren't disappointed. I am a steak man so could not go past this on the menu. We each ordered the Rid-Eye with all the trimmings I had pepper sauce on top. The steak was cooked to perfection in fact it was the best steak I... More

There's an excellent free play area, along with other pay activities such as train rides and bouncy castles for the kids. A very well maintained walled garden with lots for sun dials for those of you who wish to relax in peaceful surroundings. There's also a hedge maze and some rather challenging walks for the more active. Overall a good... More

Carnfunnock Country Park has it all for a family visit, children's playground, crazy golf, miniature railway, golf driving range etc etc. It also has a great caravan and camping facility. The walled garden and walks through the woods really mean there is something for everyone, particularly amateur photographers like myself. The onsite shops and cafes aren't bad either. Great views... Carnfunnock is a rare gem of a place and the staff are brilliant should it be the ground staff or the cafe staff, the walks are well set out and marked and take you through some beautiful scenery. In the season there are plenty of things for kids to enjoy and all in all its a great way to spend... More
